A Letter from Death

Hello readers and (possibly) followers, hope you are having a good day. Apologizing for the delay, I present to you 'A Letter from Death'. Enjoy reading it and don't forget to comment below if you like it.

A Letter from Death

Dear Achilles

I hope you are doing well, because a few hours from now you are going to die. I am going to come personally to pick you. You must be wondering who I am, playing such a ridiculous prank. Just for your information I am Death. Yes, there is no spelling mistake and I know what death means, I am Thanatos for the Greeks and Mors for the Romans. I am sorry to say that your time has come, you need to die. I just wanted to tell you that you have played your part well in the Trojan War.

I congratulate you for your awesome victory against the Trojan hero Hector.

Don’t think you can fight me. You may be invulnerable from outside but you soul is always vulnerable. Many Greek heroes have met me, none survived. Your speed is no match against mine.

There is just one bit of prophecy I want to give you – you will be killed by Paris. You cannot stop that from happening. That is how prophecies work. One try’s to avoid death and is killed in the process.

I hope you meet your death bravely.

Regards
Death/Thanatos/Mors
