I have been writing for almost an year now and I have noticed that the biggest thing that affects how your English is reading. If you read, your English will improve. Read whatever you like reading, you could read science fiction, philosophy, even reading the newspaper daily can help you improve your English skills. Read at least 3 books in a month by well known writers and you will notice a great improvement just within two months. There are several ways of doing this:- Turn off auto-play Has it ever happened to you that you want to watch one video and as the video gets over the next one plays and you find it interesting so you see that too and end up watching much more than what you planned and so waste your time. Simple way to prevent that is to turn off auto-play Switch to factory version  If you have a smart phone on which you watch YouTube then you could switch to the factory version of YouTube. This version has less features and this will discourage you to watch too much of it. Avoid recommended videos  I know that is a lot to do. Avoiding recommended videos is like trying to be inconsiderate towards a million-dollar opportunity. It is what is keeping YouTube running. In 2005 three former PayPal Employees Chad Hurley, Steve Chen and Javed Karim developed a video sharing website. Little did they know that this would become the most popular of its kind. This website, today known as YouTube has become a problem. Millions of people waste countless number of hours daily in the name of 'entertainment'. Daily 5 Million videos are watched and assuming that the length of each video is about 12 minutes then daily 1 million hours of videos are watched. Considering that 30 percent of the videos are watched for constructive causes and 10 percent is valid entertainment, then daily 600 thousand of hours are wasted on YouTube.
